How Do you stay creative?
It’s easy to get sucked into work and making money, especially when you’re young and just starting out. I know I’ve been sucked into the stress of making a five-year plan that seems reasonable, and letting my creativity take a backseat.
You sometimes have to adjust and fit in the things in your life that you want to keep, regardless of what’s going on. For me, writing is just one of the creative things I enjoy. Waking up earlier, bringing a notebook with me, and just being more observant help me stay creative. Overall, read a lot and explore the things that excite you.
What is your favorite type of trip?
There’s nothing like traveling. I can find happiness on a warm, sunny beach with a book or exploring old castles in my raincoat and soaking wet socks.
That being said, I think I’m more partial to “educational travel” right now. I love walking through gardens and seeing how other people live(d).
What do you do for work?
I worked at an agency where I learned all aspects of social media marketing. I was in charge of strategy, content-creation, and community management. I soon was running the content team and implementing trainings. Then, I decided I was ready to try my own thing. I currently freelance and consult when I’m not planning my next adventure.
